UK Venue Show seminars look 'zibrant'

Zibrant and Concerto will headline the UK Venue Show’s Event Seminar Programme, 1st - 2nd February 2012. The show is anticipated to draw over 3500 qualified event buyers with 18% of the pre-registered participants having budgets in excess of £1m.

The Event Seminar Programme will bring together a range of topics relevant for the forward-thinking corporate meeting and events buyer. Zibrant will talk on consolidating meeting and event expenditures, while Concerto will demonstrate how corporates can benefit from the unrivalled activities taking place in the UK this summer.

Other topics are set to include the changing face of Request for Proposals, corporate buying patterns and the use of digital marketing before, during and after an event.

The inaugural UK Venue Show, which runs alongside the respected Event Production Show, marks the first of 2012’s trade exhibitions for the live events sector. The UK Venue Show has secured representation of over 50 key venues including the NEC, Proud Galleries, Leeds Castle, The Lensbury and Bletchley Park as well as the MIA pavilion which will showcase its member venues including Arsenal Football Club and IET Venues.

Chris Hartley, business development director at the NEC, said, “The UK Venue Show, co-locating with the Event Production Show, will introduce us to the production companies and event management agencies that may not be familiar with the venue’s fantastic flexibility.

“And being present at this show will enable our Live Event specialists, Kathy Male and Jenny Lightfoot, to talk to the people who deliver ‘live events’ about our unique and competitive offering.”

Tanya Cohen, exhibition director, said, “I am delighted with the response the show has received from corporate event buyers and decision makers; pre-registration indicates that 46% of all the attendees have an interest in exhibition & conference, sporting, unique and historic venues and over 57% have annual event spends in excess of £100k.”
