UK Venue Show powers ahead
The UK Venue Show is setting the pace as the lead show for buyers of events as it marks the start of 2012’s trade show season.
Confirmed exhibitor ODEON Conferencing and Events will be making the most of the year’s kick-off opportunity to appeal to event buyers’ budgets at the show, 1-2 February.
With more than 100 cinemas across the UK, ODEON UK offers facilities suitable for corporate conferences and private screenings through to fashion shows and association events. ODEON Conferencing and Events join a high profile list of venues already signed up to exhibit including Business Design Centre, Church House and Millbrook Events.
The UK Venue Show will run in tandem with its respected sister exhibition the Event Production Show and has already drawn the support of the Association of Event Venues (AEV). 3,600 qualified buyers are lined up to visit the exhibition to preview new venues and meet corporate and agency buyers.
Tanya Cohen, Event Director, UK Venue Show, said: “It’s abundantly clear that in a competitive market place venues want to get to the buyers first. Being first in the queue for these buyers, we will without doubt pay dividends for the exhibitors who are looking to benefit from 2012’s buoyant event season.”
Katy Tomlin, sales and events executive from ODEON Conferencing and Events UK, said: “We are very aware of the calibre and buying power of the audiences of The UK Venue Show and The Event Production Show. The show will give us a great opportunity to maximise networking opportunities and highlight our size and scope for hosting UK based events - and we’re looking forward to taking part”.
