New headliners announced for Liverpool Sound City

Liverpool Sound City, the 3 day international music, media and technology conference and live arts and music festival returns in May and has announced the first artists on its line up. 

Liverpool Sound City has announced Professor Green as one of their headliners. His debut album, ‘Alive Till I’m Dead’ crashed into the charts last year and went double-Gold, spawning four hit singles amassing over 500,000 sales. His second album is due for release this summer and he will be premiering tracks from it at Liverpool Sound City.

Professor Green say’s “Liverpool is always a highlight of any tour so I’m delighted to be able to confirm Liverpool Sound City. I can’t wait to get back there. Liverpool! Let’s have it!”

White Denim, the Texas four piece who blend garage, progressive and psychedelic rock will perform tracks from their five revered and varied long players.

Also performing are psychedelic electronic innovators, Death In Vegas, playing tracks from their ‘Trans Love Energies’ album.  

Liverpool Sound City is also hosting the UK Music Student Awards at the Echo Arena on 17th May. Launched by George Martin, the awards are in collaboration with Access To Music and are hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Edith Bowman.
