Debut exhibitors favour videos at Event Production Show

The impact of video at live events is underlined by the latest wave of first time exhibitors at this year’s Event Production Show, February 1 & 2 at Olympia.

Integrated marketing agency Enigma will launch Videoh to the event industry, a revolutionary product that uses ultra thin LCD screen technology in tandem with traditional media such as brochures, direct mail and invitations.

Meanwhile, Urban Entertainment is showcasing its inflatable big screens for open air cinema events; Big TV its mobile screens and outside broadcast facilities; MIR Services will be talking visitors through its portfolio of event production and technology services as supplied to the likes of Los Angeles Convention Centre and V Festival; and 3xScreen Media its HD video call streaming designed to accommodate broadcasts from simultaneous sporting, entertainment and music events.

“Without a doubt, video technology has been the standout strand of our exhibitor base in the run up to the 2012 show, especially among the debut exhibitors,” event manager Sarah Brownlee said. “It is clear that video is a popular way to bring events to life this year and ensure audience engagement over every square metre on site.”

The 2012 Event Production Show takes place at Grand Hall, Olympia, Wednesday, 1 and Thursday 2 February alongside the inaugural UK Venue Show.
