Bid for Bromley business

The London Borough of Bromley has put its Christmas event programme, due from November 27 to January 5, out to tender. The aim is to create a quality ‘winter wonderland’ style celebration in and around the town centre.

According to the blurb, ‘The successful company will deliver an innovative Christmas event that offers opportunities for participation and enjoyment and enhances the experience of residents and visitors coming to Bromley during the festive season.’

Interested parties are required to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire, which will be dispatched on May 21, with a return date of June 18. Shortlisted companies will be invited to make a detailed tender submission with a return date of July 30. Evaluation will be carried out in line with Bromley’s standard procedure, and used to establish the best value for money approach. The contract will start on September 1, ‘to allow the appointed contractor time to organise and co-ordinate the Bromley Town Centre Christmas Event 2010’.
