Barclaycard launches Christmas campaign

Barclaycard has launched its new ‘Win an Easier Christmas’ campaign that offers consumers a range of exclusive prizes through an interactive digital advent calendar and be hosted on its Facebook page.

The activity is part of a wider brand positioning and marketing strategy and is set to be Barclaycard’s biggest outdoor advertising campaign ever.

The digital advent calendar offers 24 experiences to win , where each window will conceal a prize and feature celebrities such as Olly Murs who will sing carols on your doorstep and James Martin who will help out in your kitchen.

The campaign will be supported by PR, social media and above the line activity. The agencies involved are Dare, Walker Media, Mission and Crosswords Films.

Additionally, with our hints and tips we also want to encourage people to make December a more manageable, easier and enjoyable time of year.”

Launching on Thursday, 1st December 2011, both Barclaycard and non-Barclaycard consumers will be given the chance to open the online advent calendar running live on www.facebook.com/barclaycard.
