Event branding specialist Icon has been appointed principal signage provider for the 2010 Ryder Cup at the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport from October 1 to 3.
In winning this new contract Icon will have responsiblity for the Ryder Cup’s look, on-course branding and general signage for this years event. The contract will also see Icon providing these services again for Ryder Cup 2014, to be held at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland. All this comes on the back of Icon’s successful provision at Valderrama in 1997 and the K Club, Ireland in 2006.
“Icon has proven experience in delivering signage and branding solutions and we look forward to working with the team again at the 2010 Ryder Cup,” match director, Edward Kitson, said.
