KAYAM THEATRE TENTS

Kayam is a well established big top tent hire company offering a range of modular tensile structures designed to eliminate the problems experienced in producing today’s shows and events in yesterday’s traditional marquees, big tops and circus tents.

The Kayam, and larger Valhalla make ideal temporary venues for exhibitions, conferences, theatre, festivals, and concerts with demanding technical requirements. They have provided fully equipped temporary theatre and concert venues during redevelopment of existing buildings and have been used for major Concert Tours.

The Kayam

Designed as a mobile theatre venue that can accommodate all the requirements of modern stage performance whilst retaining the versatility of a circus big-top. 

Features:

• A blackout structure so that stage lighting would still be available in daylight
• The ability to rig unimpeded 6m and higher over the stage
• Ability to drive lorries into the tent to unload
• Auditorium and backstage areas unrestricted by tent poles
• The Kayam’s high profile 3D symmetry makes it a more eye-catching and exciting structure than any big-top.

The Concert Tent

Larger that the Kayam range, our Concert Tent joins together 3 Kayam end sections at an angle, effectively forming a much larger auditorium space with no area wasted by poor sightlines. Any number of extra middles can be added to any arm of the tent forming extremely versatile venues from 5000 sq metres upwards.

The Valhalla

A new generation of tent providing widths of 73m between walls, up to 15m clearance above ground level and up to 10,000 sq m of space all under one roof.

The Valhalla has all the same design advantages as the Kayam but on a truly massive scale.

Kayam Stage Cover

Unveiled in its smallest form at ‘Rock In Rio’ in Lisbon, Portugal it stunned the crowds with it's simplicity and spectacular appearance. The Kayam Stage Cover can be extended to accommodate an entire production village including dressing rooms, green room and offices!

Design and Build Service

While still offering our own structures for sale, the Kayam has now agreed an alliance with an Italian manufacturer and engineer for new design and build work. From a tradition which has supplied tents to most of the world's major circuses over many years, Italian tensile designers and manufacturers are now producing some of the most exciting and innovative developments in tensile construction.

Additionally the very competitive market in Italy enables us to achieve lower manufacture costs with arguably higher standards of finish.

With our existing UK design and manufacture links which produced the Kayam and Valhalla, we can now offer a truly flexible and versatile design and build service, yet still maintain the Kayams all important personal attention to every detail in the design. manufacture and installation of new structures.
